Chillin' with Frankie

Let me take you behind the lens of my latest shoot with @Francesca.mistely – a day where the picture didn't exactly pan out the way I'd imagined. Here's the lowdown:

First, my brand-new StellaPro Light was ready for its debut. Yet, the umbrella I brought along seemed to have different ideas and refused to fit.

Next, my Mamiya RB67 and I reconnected after quite a break, but I soon realized that turning its back wasn't as easy as I remembered. (We got there in the end, though!)

And third, without the elusive umbrella, my grand vision for breathtaking infrared shots fell a little short of my expectations.

But you know what? Despite all this, the session was filled with joy. Laughter echoed through the shoot as we chatted, discovered new facets about each other, and crafted some truly remarkable images.

So, did the day go exactly as planned? Nope. But was it an amazing, unforgettable experience? Absolutely, and then some.
