Empowering Her
Lately, I have been putting a lot of thought into what I like to photograph and why I enjoy making images of people so much.
Often, I think about how it would be a little easier if I focused on landscape photography, still life, or some other form of photography that didn’t involve trying to coordinate people.
But I just don’t get as much enjoyment from photographing those subjects. And why is that?
It’s because of their story, their reason for wanting a portrait and what they get from the experience.
For this session with Samantha, one clear reason came to mind: Empowerment.
